Works with your storage provider
Compare cost and featuresNot your average SaaS backup.
Your bucket, your keys
Your data never touches our infrastructure. Bring your own S3, Backblaze, Wasabi, OCI, or MinIO.
Ransomware-proof by design
Versioning + Object Lock with a default retention (Compliance mode) set on the bucket: for the whole retention period, not even a compromised server can delete or overwrite older versions.
Granular restore
By file, by date, by session. Search by name with a batch restore cart.
Partner program
Wholesale price per server: you set the final price and keep the difference. Or refer customers and earn 20% for as long as they pay.
How it works
Connect your S3 bucket (BYOS)
Create a dedicated bucket at your favorite provider with versioning and Object Lock. Register its name in the panel — credentials stay on your server only.
Install the agent on your server
One command. On Linux, Docker is the default; there are also native installers for Linux, macOS and Windows. Then approve the server in the panel with one click. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control on, the agent, not yet code-signed, is blocked; Windows 10 and Windows Server work.
Set up backup plans
Paths to protect, backup windows, throttling. Daily/hourly/cron schedules with smart multi-tier retention.
Restore whenever you need
Search files by name, browse versions on the timeline, pick the target agent. Restores flow bucket → agent, never through the panel.
Simple pricing, no surprises.
We charge per server. Storage you pay directly to your provider.

Frequently asked questions
What is BYOS (Bring Your Own Storage)?
You create the S3 bucket (or compatible: B2/Wasabi/OCI/MinIO) in your own account, register it with Arkame, and the local agent uses your credentials. Your data never passes through our infrastructure. If you cancel Arkame, the bucket and the data remain yours.
How does it protect against ransomware?
With versioning on and Object Lock with a default retention (Compliance mode) set on the bucket, every version written stays immutable for the period you chose — say, 30 days. During that period, not even someone who steals the server’s key can delete or overwrite older versions: the provider itself refuses. You restore a version from before the attack and move on. Object Lock turned on without a default retention does not protect anything; pick a period longer than it would take you to notice an attack. It works with providers that offer Object Lock through the S3 API, such as AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi and MinIO.
Which databases are supported?
File-level backup. For Postgres, MySQL or MongoDB, create a dump (`pg_dump`, `mysqldump`, `mongodump`) and protect the resulting file — copying an open database file saves something that will not restore. On native installs (Linux, macOS and Windows), use the plan’s "before the backup" command: if it fails, the backup is cancelled instead of keeping yesterday’s dump. On Docker, before/after commands do not run; schedule the dump on the host itself (cron) into a folder the plan includes. Native VSS/LVM snapshots are on the roadmap.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. The Arkame agent runs on Linux (Docker or native installer), Windows and macOS. One caveat: on Windows 11 with Smart App Control turned on, the agent, not yet code-signed, is blocked. Windows 10 and Windows Server work normally. VSS (consistent copies of open files on Windows) is coming in an upcoming release.
What happens if I cancel?
You cancel in the panel, under Billing, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for — until then, everything keeps working. After that the account is closed: backup and restore through the panel stop, and the catalog (file names, sizes and versions) is kept for at least 30 days in case you come back; to have it deleted, ask at contato@arkame.app and we delete it within 15 days. Your bucket is not touched: the versioned files are still there, and you download them straight from your provider. Do not confuse it with suspension: if a payment is more than 7 days overdue, the organization is suspended — backups stop, but restores keep working until you settle it.
Can I resell (whitelabel)?
Yes. There are five tiers. As an Affiliate you refer customers and earn 20% of what each one pays, every month they keep paying. In the four reseller tiers (Starter, Silver, Gold and Platinum) you buy per server at a wholesale price — which improves as your base grows — and set the final price for your customer. The panel carries your name, logo and color; a custom domain does not exist yet. See the partners page or talk to us at contato@arkame.app.
